Why You Should Watch Vincenzo: A Korean Drama Review

Posted on March 14, 2021April 5, 2021 by Ara Patria

Heya, K-drama fans! It’s been a while since I wrote my own perspective about the drama or series that I watch. Actually, I haven’t been watching K-dramas these days, (right after Private Lives). I think I have mentioned many times that I am very picky when it comes to watching any type of Korean series.

Anyway, I really missed watching Korean dramas and writing my reviews about them. So here’s to another blog about a Korean drama review! Let me share with you my thoughts on watching Vincenzo! I really can’t wait to tell you how much I am in love with this drama!

Vincenzo Synopsis

This is a new Korean drama this 2021 which aired in February. It consists of 20 episodes that can be watched on Netflix and on tvN. Vincenzo or Vincenzo Cassano is played by Song Joong Ki – who is a lawyer and works for the Mafia as a consigliere. He used to live in Italy from the age of 8 after being adopted. But after so many years, he flees back to South Korea and gets involved with Lawyer Hong Cha-Yong. Hong Cha-Yong is a lawyer played by Jeon Yeo-Bin that works for Wusang Law Firm. Eventually, they work together to achieve social justice.

Why Vincenzo is worth watching?

It’s Song Joong Ki’s comeback.

Known as one of the top-paid Korean actors in Korea, Song Joong Ki is once again ready to show off his amazing acting skills on screen. In fact, Vincezo is his newest drama after his 2019’s Arthal Chronicles. (It’s a must-watch, too!)

If you have been following Song Joong Ki’s dramas or series, then you must be familiar with how great his acting skills are. Here in Vincenzo, you will be able to see how versatile he is – from being the badass lawyer to the cutest foreigner to the coolest lawyer from Italy. Every part of his scene is way too hilarious. Not to mention that his visuals are totally overflowing in this drama! His Italian speaking skills seem to be very attractive, too!

The drama has such a great cast.

Song Joong Ki may be one of the main characters of this series, but let’s not forget about the other main leads and supporting actors. All of the actors in Vincenzo are really performing well in every episode which makes the drama more interesting and more humorous! I can’t clearly remember but I am certain that I laughed countless times while I was watching this drama. I couldn’t even stop being amazed at every part of the scene. Moreover, I totally got hooked on this drama.

Apart from Song Joong Ki, you will definitely love watching some of the familiar actors in this series such as Taecyeon (Jang Joon-Woo), Jeong Yeo-Bin (Hong Cha-Young), Kwak Dong-Yeon (Chairman Jang Han-Seo), Yoo Jae-Myung (Hong Yu-Chan), and many more! Vincenzo has definitely got a lot of great actors portraying their characters so well.

It has a complex, exciting story.

Vincezo is not just your typical love story – a badass guy who falls in love with a good lady. It is more of an action, humorous, and exhilarating drama! Every part of the scene is overwhelming and captivating! One good thing about the drama is its love interest doesn’t seem to drag the story itself. The drama seems to be very natural and it becomes more entertaining as it moves on to the next episode. Obviously, there are a lot of unpredictable scenes in its storyline and there might be more surprising scenes that we must expect from this drama.

I am so in love with this drama! Its storyline, cast, and unexpected, humurous, and amazing scenes – I totally enjoy everything about this drama!

Vincenzo is available on Netflix and you can also watch it on tvN Channel every Saturday and Sunday at 9:00 PM KST.
