Shalom Hotel: Experience Luxury in Nature

Posted on May 21, 2019April 9, 2021 by Ara Patria

Rested atop of a hill and surrounded by greeneries, The Shalom Hotel is a hotel inside Camp Benjamin. Not a typical hotel where you can view skyscrapers during daytime and city lights at night. Camp Benjamin provides a differently unique experience – that diverts your attention to the people that surround you. This place will definitely give you a break from reality.

About the Room

ALT="this is indeed the single cabana of the shalom hotel"
ALT="the shalom hotel single cabana single bedroom for two"

The Shalom Hotel has different kinds of accommodations to offer. It provides comfort for couples, families, friends, and colleagues. More to that, it is the best place to hold any type of events whether it is a team-building or a wedding celebration.

  • ALT="it makes you feel good and looks good in nature"

When we arrived at Camp Benjamin, we went straight to the Information Desk at the Shalom Hotel. It was a weekend so I expected it to have many people. But, it wasn’t crowded at all. My cousins and I decided to stay at Camp Benjamin overnight. Frankly speaking, Camp Benjamin is too huge to do everything here in just one day. So, staying overnight at the Shalom Hotel is advisable.

My Experience at The Shalom Hotel

ALT="the single cabana here at shalom hotel camp"

In our case, we took the Single Cabana which is good for 2 persons, but we were a group of 4 so we added an extra bed. The accommodation looks tidy. It looks simple yet elegant. As you enter, the living area and the dining area are already noticeable. Then, there is also a mini kitchen that showcases a small fridge and a microwave oven. The restroom is well-maintained but please expect some problem with water. Nevertheless, the amenities are all good. In terms of the bedroom, it has two ACs, one big master bedroom, and a cupboard.

The entire room looks really fancy and cozy at the same time. It feels so relaxing to stay here. More to that, the view from the inside of the cabana is so fantastic that the trees are facing the sliding glass door of the cabana. It feels good to have a cup of coffee here in the morning with the view of nature.

About the staff

They are all nice and accommodating. They would greet you nicely all the time. During our stay, we had a little problem with the door and they helped us right away. They are so approachable.

Things to Expect

ALT="these rooms of the shalom hotel are good for big groups"

There is a television nor even some board games in the room. So better yet, you can bring your own stuff that you can play with.

But I think it is also a good idea in order to spend more time and talk more with your family, friends, or loved ones. In that way, you will be able to develop intimacy between “you and them”.

ALT="dip yourself in the pool at camp benjamin"

In addition, if you are into swimming, there is one huge swimming pool that Camp Benjamin provides. You can go swimming all day long.

ALT="happy together with my cousins at camp benjamin"

We totally enjoyed our stay. Everything went smoothly and didn’t have any problem with the amenities except for the water in the restroom. Overall, we had a relaxing stay the whole night!
