Rainbow Cafe & Lounge: A Hidden Cafe in Boracay Island

Posted on March 3, 2025March 3, 2025 by Ara Patria

Boracay is one of the top island destinations in the Philippines and Southeast Asia. Whether they are local or foreign tourists, Boracay Island is a must-see. This is my 3rd time visiting Boracay Island to celebrate my birthday and my friend’s birthday. We always wanted to visit Boracay for relaxation, fun, and to try new food and activities.

On our third visit to Boracay, we discovered a new hidden cafe that doesn’t just offer good food and drinks, but you can also have fun watching drag shows! To be honest, it’s kind of fresh to me since I haven’t watched a drag show since. Thus, if you’re visiting the island soon or don’t have any idea yet where to eat in Boracay, you might consider checking out the Rainbow Cafe & Lounge!

The Rainbow Cafe & Lounge is a cafe that doesn’t just offer food and drinks to their guests but also provides fun drag shows at night! The cafe mainly serves Filipino food and other varieties of food that are budget-friendly and affordable. In addition, the cafe proudly presents drag shows every night, which take place five times a week!

Affordable food and drinks.

We all know that traveling to Boracay Island is a bit expensive. If you want to have some good food, you must splurge on it. On the one hand, this is not the case for the Rainbow Cafe & Lounge. They offer affordable food and drinks, which is already ideal for groups, couples, friends, and even solo travelers.

A perfect place to chill.

My friends and I visited the cafe at night to chill and also to look forward to watching the drag show. While waiting for the show to begin, we loved the chilling vibes that the cafe offers. We enjoyed our time even way before the show had started. The cafe has a DJ that makes the place more chill!

The most entertaining cafe in Boracay Island.

Forget about the party island, and forget about these Insta-worthy cafes. It’s to go and watch drag shows at the Rainbow Cafe! I must say that watching drag shows is the most entertaining thing I’ve ever done. It was more fun than I thought. My friends and I totally enjoyed the night watching the drag show at the cafe. It’s something that you must try at least when you are in Boracay, especially if you want something new.

Boracay Island is indeed an ideal destination to visit for relaxation and fun. But if you want something new, a visit to the Rainbow Cafe is a must! It definitely won’t cost you a lot.
