Top Places to Visit in Atok
Northern Blossom Flower Farm
Northern Blossom Flower Farm is one of the most popular tourist spots in Atok. This is where you can immerse yourself in a sea of vibrant and seasonal flowers. The farm features an array of blooms, including celosias, sunflowers, and more. It’s a fantastic place for photography and enjoying the serene ambiance.
Sakura Park
You can visit Sakura Park during the Sakura (cherry blossom) season; and head to the Atok Sakura Flowers area. Witness the cherry blossoms in full bloom, a rare sight in the Philippines. The best time to visit for cherry blossoms is typically in February or March.
Haights Place
Haights Place is next to Sakura Park, showcasing different kinds of flowers and vegetables. This is one of the biggest flower farms that I’ve ever seen.
Personally, this is my favorite place that we’ve been to! The flower farm is so huge, offering different beautiful flowers and plants! The fog adds to the beauty of the place. It feels so dreamy!
Mt. Olis
Mt. Olis is another tourist destination that we visited after Haight’s Place. Mt. Olis is 7,900 ft. above sea level, offering stunning views from the summit. From the summit, you’ll get a view of the vegetable terraces, flower farms, mountains, and fruit and vegetable plantations.
Second Highest Point
Enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and valleys from this elevated vantage point. This used to be the highest point of the Philippine Highway System but is now considered the second. From here, you can also catch a glimpse of Mt. Pulag. (Unless it is not foggy at all.)
Half Tunnel
The Half Tunnel is a 50-meter portion of the highway carved from the face of a huge rock and constructed in 1968 after the strong typhoon “Trining” washed out the road.
Beacon Hill
Beacon Hill is not part of Atok, but you can also visit this eco park as a side trip. Located in Tublay, Benguet, Beacon Hill is a UK-inspired eco park where the attractions are located on the sidehills of the mountain. The eco-park offers amazing views of the landscape and a cool temperature. This is a perfect place to visit with your friends or family. It’s such an ideal place to chill or go on a picnic while enjoying the mountain views and cool climate.
