Panay Island Travel Guide with Itinerary 3d2n

WELCOME TO MY PANAY ISLAND TRAVEL GUIDE! Panay Island has been an alternative route that can take you to Boracay Island. If you fly directly to Boracay, it might be costly. Why? It is due to its popularity among local tourists and foreigners as well.

But little did people know, Panay Island doesn’t only revolve around the island of Boracay. In fact, this island has definitely a lot to offer. Located in the Western Visayas region, Panay Island consists of Iloilo, Antique, Aklan, and Capiz. Besides, Guimaras Island is just 10-15 minutes away from Iloilo. Here’s to my Panay Island and Guimaras travel guide for 3 days and 3 nights!

Circumnavigating Panay Island

It’s been my dream to visit Iloilo as well as Boracay. So I have decided to have a pre-birthday celebration with my friends on Panay Island. Our entry point was in Iloilo. Meanwhile, our exit point was in Iloilo, too! We circumnavigated Panay Island and Guimaras Island for three days. Yup, I knew it was too short to explore the island. Despite that, we still tried our best to maximize our time to visit our desired destinations.

It is better to contact a guide already before heading to Guimaras Island to make it much less hassle on your end.

If you are heading to Garin Farm, you must ride a jeep with the signage of “San Joaquin”.

Ride a bus with the signage of San Jose if you are also planning to stay at Ursula Inn in Antique.

There are still a lot of reasons to visit Panay Island again. I have realized that it’s not about the places or tourist spots that make the island attractive. It is more about the people who warmly welcomed us during our visit. The locals are so nice and helpful during our trip. I will surely come back!
