Then, he met Lee Dan-ah (Chae Soo Bin), known as the fastest delivery woman in their area. Strongest Deliveryman focuses on the success of Choi Kang Soo who later becomes the CEO of a delivery app company.
Reason to watch: If you are a fan of Go Kyung Pyo, then you must watch this drama! This is his first-ever drama where he is the main cast. The drama is light yet still, quite emotional. It teaches about life sacrifices and reality. If you feel lost in your reaching goals, this drama might help you lit up your desire of achieving your goals in life.
Her Private Life
Sypnosis: Her Private Life is a 16-episode Korean drama that focuses on Sung Deok Mi (Park Min Young). She works as a head curator at an art gallery, but a fangirl outside work. This drama mainly talks about her life as a fangirl and a love interest of Ryan Gold (Kim Jae Wook).
Reason to watch: I really love this drama. I highly recommend this drama especially to those fangirls like me. Somehow, you can relate to this drama. There are so many things that you will realize as a fangirl. It is really funny and the chemistry between the main casts is so satisfying.
Arthdal Chronicles
Synopsis: Eun Som (played by Song Jong Ki), was born with fate to bring disaster to Arthdal. He goes through a lot of hardships and grows up. He appears again in Arthdal. There, he comes across the most powerful man in Arthdal, Tagon who becomes the king of the nation. Meanwhile, Tan Ya (Kim Ji Won) was born with the same fate as Eun Som. She is the successor of the Wahan Tribe and plays a big part in Arthdal. Tan Ya wishes to have the highest position in Arthdal.
Reason to watch: This is the comeback main lead role of Song Jong Ki after Descendants of the Sun. Arthdal Chronicles is actually a series in which the first series consists of 18 episodes. It starred in 2019 which aired on Netflix. It’s sad that some people do not appreciate this drama and find this really boring. This Korean drama needs a deeper understanding of the story. To be honest, the first episode of it is already interesting. You might get confused at times but I think that’s actually part of the storyline. This drama is truly unpredictable! It is a must-watch. From the main casts down to supporting actors, everyone makes the drama promising. Every character shines in this drama even those who have the smallest role.
Doctor John
Synopsis: Starred by Ji Sung, Doctor John is a medical drama that focuses on finding solutions to different kinds of mysterious diseases. Ji Sung plays the role of a doctor of anesthesiology as Doctor Cha Yo-han. Cha Yohan works with Kang Shi-Young (Lee See Young), who is a resident of anesthesiology. They work together to find the causes of the pain of their patients who have mysterious diseases.
Reason to watch: This is such a wonderful medical drama. Truly one of the best underrated medical Kdramas to watch in 2019! The story is beautifully written. The casts are all good. What you will love about this drama is it doesn’t just focus on the love story of the main casts, but it focuses more on humanity. There are so many scenes in this drama that would make your heart melt. If you are looking for a medical drama to watch, then you shouldn’t miss this!
Defendant
Synopsis: Park Jung-Woo (Ji Sung) is a prosecutor at the Seoul Central District Prosecutors’ Office. One day, he wakes up and finds himself locked up at the police station. Park Jung-Woo is falsely accused of killing his family and is sentenced to death. He has temporary amnesia yet has to prove his innocence.
Reason to watch: I could totally say that this is one of the most wonderful Korean dramas ever written in history. The story plot is excellent. This is one of Ji Sung’s best works! This might be a heavy drama but it is surely worth watching.
Remember: War of the Son
Synopsis: Jin-Woo (Yoo Seung-Ho) who plays the role of a lawyer in order to prove his father’s innocence. He has the condition of Hyperthymesia. With this, he uses his ability to remember everything in perfect detail. However, he begins to lose his memory due to Alzheimer’s.
Reason to watch: If you are into heavy dramas, this one suits best for you. I believe this is one of the best dramas that played by Yoo Seung Ho. You would surely enjoy every episode of this drama. Make sure to prepare boxes of tissue because it will certainly make you cry from the beginning up to the end.
Lawless Lawyer
Sypnosis: Bong Sang-Pil (Lee Joon-Gi) a former gangster turned lawyer, who has his own law firm called Lawless Firm. Bong Sang Pil has one of the highest win rates in the country. He fights against those people with absolute power who take advantage of the law. He stands before the court in order to seek justice for his mother’s death.
Reason to watch: This is one of my most favorite thrilling action dramas ever! Lee Joon Gi is such a versatile actor. For sure, you won’t stop watching every episode of this drama!
Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo
Synopsis: This drama centers on the love story of Hae-Soo and Wang Soo during the Goryeo era. It happens when a total eclipse of the sun travels place, Hae-Soo (IU) travels back in time to the Goryeo era.
Reason to watch: If you haven’t watched this yet, then you are missing half of your life. This drama is truly a masterpiece. It will make you smile, go crazy, laugh, and cry. Be ready to have a rollercoaster emotion when you see this drama. This is definitely one for the books.
Chicago Typewriter
Synopsis: Starred by Yoo Ah In, Go Kyung Pyo, and Lim Soo Jung. This story centers on the writers that lived under Japanese rule in the 1930s. They are reincarnated into a bestselling writer who is in a slump, a mysterious ghostwriter and an anti-fan of the bestselling writer.
Reason to watch: This is another masterpiece that you shouldn’t miss out on watching. Not to mention that Chicago Typewriter has one of the most one-of-a-kind storylines among all Korean dramas?! Indeed. It has been years since I watched this drama but I still can’t get over with how amazing its storyline is! The main casts, storyline, cinematography, and every little thing about this drama is truly exceptional! Even its OSTs are so amazing! Up until now, I’m still wondering why this is one of the most underrated Kdramas to watch in Korea.
Reply 1988
Synopsis: This story is about the five children who grew up together in the same neighborhood in 1988. Duk-Sun (Hyeri), Jung-Hwan (Ryoo Joon-Yeol), Sun-Woo (Ko Gyung-Pyo) and Dong-Ryong (Lee Dong-Hwi) are high school students and Taek (Park Bo-Gum) is a go player. They have been friends since they were little kids. This story depicts how they used to live during 1988 and how they had improved from being immature highschool kids to fully grown up.
Reason to watch: For me, this is my top Korean drama ever! No matter how many Korean dramas I have watched, Reply 1988 would still the best one for me. This drama has also a unique storyline. It is an overall Korean drama where you can witness a story about a family, friendship, school, love, and life. It has a lot of life lessons that you can relate to or even apply to in real life. Each episode runs for about 2 hours but when you watch it, you wouldn’t even mind the running hours you spend on here. Seriously. That’s how captivating this drama is! This is a must-watch drama.

K-drama movies are really interesting and eye catchy to watch. My daughters are a huge fan of Korean movies. Will share these 10 underrated Korean movies. I hope that they had never watched it. Lol!

I am in love with Korean dramas. I always keep on looking for Korean dramas which are either English or Hindi dubbed.
